🧾 The Dirty Truth – Refund Policy At The Dirty Truth, customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do. We take pride in delivering a high standard of service every time. Please read our refund policy to understand how we handle service concerns and requests for refunds. Satisfaction Guarantee If you are not 100% satisfied with your clean, please notify us within 24 hours of service. We will offer a free re-clean of the areas in question within a reasonable timeframe. Refund Eligibility Refunds are only considered in the following situations: A re-clean was offered but declined. Services were paid for in advance but canceled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Refunds Will Not Be Issued If: The client was not available to allow access at the scheduled time (no-show). The property was excessively dirty beyond what was booked (e.g., deep clean needed but only a general clean was booked). The issue was reported more than 24 hours after the service was completed. The client approved the job as completed before raising concerns. Partial Refunds In cases where the service was partially completed due to unforeseen access issues or time restrictions outside our control, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original method of payment. 🧼 The Dirty Truth – Cancellation Policy At The Dirty Truth, we understand that life happens and plans can change. We strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring our time and resources are respected. Please review our cancellation policy below: Standard Appointments (All Domestic Bookings) 24 Hours’ Notice Required If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee of the booked service. Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows If we arrive and are unable to access the property or if the appointment is cancelled on the day, a 100% service fee may be charged. Builder & Commercial Cleans 48 Hours’ Notice Required Due to scheduling and preparation, cancellations for builder or commercial jobs require 48 hours’ notice. Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice Late cancellations may result in a minimum charge of $150 or 50% of the booked job (whichever is greater). Emergency Reschedules We understand emergencies happen. If something urgent comes up, please contact us as soon as possible – we’ll do our best to work with you and reschedule where we can. The Dirty Truth also has the right to cancel any job at their own discretion, if we arrive at a job and its not what we have been told this service can be either canceled or charged at a higher rate once confirmed with the customer. Key & Access Options We offer several secure access options: Client present at time of service Key left in a safe location (as advised by client) Entry via lockbox or key safe (code provided by client) Key provided in advance or held on file (with consent) Clients are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely access details are provided before the scheduled service. 3. Key Handling & Storage If you choose to leave a key with us: All keys are labeled without personal address details. Keys are stored securely when not in use. Keys are returned upon request or termination of service. We do not duplicate any key without written permission. 4. Alarm & Entry Codes Alarm and access codes are: Kept confidential and only accessible to authorised team members. Never written or stored electronically with address details.
